I am in good health and enjoying the program thus far. Nanjing University is very nice, and apparently very prestigious in China. We are being taught Chinese in Chinese (the teacher can barely speak English) and I am pretty excited how fast Chinese is coming along. I feel more confident about my Chinese than I did about my Thai when I first went to Thailand, I can carry on very basic conversations with people on the street.
The food here is really good, especially the restaurant that we went to tonight. Our program director, Dr. Lee is great!
